Manchester United Nears £30M Deal for Moroccan Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United is well on its way to signing Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat for a fee of 30 million pounds sterling. "Secret" negotiations have taken place between Fiorentina and the English club.
Manchester United is just a step away from signing Sofyan Amrabat! "After the sale of Rasmus Castrovilli, it will soon be Amrabat’s turn. As we have already mentioned, there have been secret contacts between Fiorentina and MUFC through intermediaries," Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla revealed in a tweet.
In January, the English club had already expressed interest in the Moroccan international, but Fiorentina did not want to let their midfielder go. This time, the Italian club is ready to reach an agreement with a club that would be able to pay 30 million euros to recruit the 26-year-old player. The Red Devils will have to "sell" Donny van de Beek, Fred and Brandon William to have the necessary resources to convince Viola.
According to Louis Saha, Sofyan’s arrival at Old Trafford would be an opportunity for Manchester United which "would improve". "Amrabat is a player I really like and he has a great intensity that, in my opinion, is unmatched. It would be exciting to see him at Manchester United and he would improve the overall balance of the team," said this former Red Devils player to Betfred.
