Manchester United’s Amrabat Weighs Lucrative Saudi Transfer Offer

Moroccan international midfielder Sofiane Amrabat, currently on loan to Manchester United from Fiorentina, has received an attractive offer to join the Saudi championship next summer.
A player agent has conveyed to Amrabat the interest of a Saudi club willing to pay a significant sum to secure his services. The offer is considered serious and the management of Fiorentina will be contacted to negotiate the buyout of the player’s contract, who was already coveted in Saudi Arabia last summer.
Amrabat has not yet given his answer, preferring to wait until the approach of the summer transfer window. His entourage, however, is persuading him to turn to the Saudi championship, which has attracted many renowned players in recent times.
The Moroccan international, who shone at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has not convinced at Manchester United. In 18 appearances in all competitions, he has faced criticism from supporters and former club players for his disappointing performances.
Manchester United does not intend to exercise the 21.5 million euro purchase option for Amrabat at the end of his loan. Fiorentina, for its part, wishes to take advantage of the Saudi interest to sell the player and make a financial profit before the end of his contract in 2025.
Sofiane Amrabat’s future is therefore shaping up to be far from Manchester United. The player will have to choose between staying in Europe and trying to revive his career or accepting the Saudi offer and taking advantage of a new financial and sporting challenge in an expanding championship.
