Man Dies After Taser Use in Paris Suburb; Suspect Allegedly Armed and Advocating Terrorism

A man died on Thursday, December 12, in Les Lilas (Seine-Saint Denis) from a heart attack, after receiving Taser discharges. Armed with a knife, he was advocating terrorism.
Threatened by this man, passers-by called the municipal police for help, according to a police source to Le Parisien.
Upon the arrival of the police, he took refuge in a business, where he is said to have been violent with the law enforcement officers. In the altercation, the individual injured one of the police officers before being overpowered with several electric stun gun (taser) discharges. He collapses, victim of a heart attack.
Transferred to the emergency room, he died a few hours later.
