Double Murder in Paris Suburb: Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Killing Two Mothers

The Assize Court of Seine-Saint-Denis sentenced, this Thursday, November 21, Anwar G. to a term of twenty years of criminal imprisonment. In July 2016, he had stabbed to death Chrystelle and Amelle, two mothers in the Courtillières housing project in Pantin.
While the public prosecutor before the Assize Court of Seine-Saint-Denis had requested 30 years - the maximum sentence - the murderer, with a shaved head and tortoiseshell glasses, was sentenced to 20 years of criminal imprisonment, reports Le Parisien.
The victims of the quinquagenarian were two childhood friends, two mothers aged 31. The eldest daughter of one of them (aged 9 at the time) had confided to her mother that she had suffered "indecent assaults" from the accused. It was thus that the two women had gone to Anwar G.’s home to "get explanations." The man’s reaction would be brutal. Armed with a bladed weapon, the quinquagenarian had stabbed them to death.
Before the Assize Court of Seine-Saint-Denis, the man pleaded guilty, but too many questions remain unanswered. The victims’ families were expecting him to explain the extreme violence of the acts.
The personality investigation revealed that the murderer is addicted to hard drugs.
