Man Arrested for Bomb Threat at Antibes Hospital After Drunken Night

The national police arrested a man in an irregular situation in Antibes on Thursday, October 10. He threatened to set off a bomb at the Fontonne Hospital.
According to Nice-matin, the man is 45 years old. After spending a night recovering from his drunkenness, he woke up at the Fontonne Hospital with a sudden desire.
Certainly, a first for him. He asked the hospital staff to take care of him, otherwise he would set off a bomb.
Faced with this threat, the staff immediately alerted the national police. When the officers arrived on the scene, they arrested the individual and placed him in custody.
A check will follow, which will have allowed them to discover that the person concerned is in an irregular situation on French territory.
He was taken to the Administrative Detention Center. For now, the defendant is under threat of expulsion from French territory.
