Magnitude 4.0 Earthquake Strikes Off Northern Morocco Coast

A tremor of a magnitude of 4 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded on Thursday evening in the north of Morocco.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING), the tremor, the epicenter of which is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred at 10:05 p.m. 49 sec (GMT 1), it is specified in a seismic alert bulletin.
Occurring at a depth of 13 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 35.660 °N and a longitude of 3.554 °W, it is added.
A 4.4 degree tremor on the Richter scale had hit the same province last June.
