Magnitude 4.8 Earthquake Strikes Northern Morocco’s Driouch Province

An earthquake of a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded on Tuesday in the province of Driouch, in northern Morocco.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING), the tremor, the epicenter of which is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred at exactly 4:39:30 pm (GMT+1).
Occurring at a depth of 13 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 35.507°N and a longitude of 3.573°W, the same source specifies.
An earthquake of 4 degrees on the Richter scale had hit the same province on September 15 last month.
