Magnitude 4.6 Earthquake Strikes Near Marrakech

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6, according to data from international seismological centers, was recorded at 12:22 pm (Moroccan time).
The main shock was felt 32 kilometers southwest of Mechouar-Kasbah.
On September 8, 2023, an earthquake of rare violence had struck the Marrakech region, leaving behind 2,946 dead, 5,674 injured, and devastated infrastructure.
An aid plan for the victims had been implemented by the Moroccan government, and efforts to rebuild continue, even if their pace still does not fully meet the expectations of the victims.
