With this new pricing, the liter of diesel crosses the 12 dirham mark, going from around 10.20 to nearly 12.20 dirhams. As for Super Unleaded, it is rising from 13.30 to nearly 14.74 dirhams, indicative levels that may vary slightly depending on the distribution networks.

This brutal increase puts a definitive end to the downward trend observed at the end of the year, when diesel had fallen back below the symbolic threshold of 10 dirhams. It closely follows an initial 25-cent increase applied to both hydrocarbons as of March 1.
