Luggage Delays Plague Moroccan Airports, Stemming from European Hub Disruptions

Many travelers are unable to access their luggage at Moroccan airports. According to the National Airports Office (ONDA), this situation is due to certain disruptions recorded at international airports.
Faced with the discontent of many passengers, the National Airports Office calls for patience and gives the causes of this situation that prevents some from properly enjoying their vacation. "Following the disruptions recorded in the delivery of luggage to Moroccan airports, ONDA, while expressing its deep regret for the travelers who have had to endure this situation, provides the following clarifications: These disruptions originate from the international airports of origin (particularly European and North American)," reports La MAP.
These disruptions would be caused by the strike movements observed by the staff of certain airports and airlines around the world. There are also technical problems in some airports (Heathrow, Charles De Gaulle...). Airports and airlines that have reduced their staff due to the pandemic are now facing a deficit that adds to all the other factors that have led to the current situation.
ONDA stresses that efforts are currently being made to "allow the repatriation of luggage, once arrived at the airport, to their recipients."
