Moroccan Air Traffic Controllers Cancel Strike After Quick Agreement with ONDA

Good news for Moroccan airports. Air traffic controllers have finally canceled the 15-day strike planned from August 3, following an agreement reached with the National Airports Office (ONDA).
On its Facebook page, the Unified National Bureau of Air Traffic Controllers, affiliated with the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT), announced the suspension of the strike that began on Wednesday. The strike only lasted 35 minutes, it specified, adding that a consensus was reached after 45 hours of discussions with airport officials.
Indeed, ONDA has committed to responding to all the legitimate demands of the controllers as soon as possible, the bureau said in its post.
To recall, these air traffic controllers are demanding the activation of a "salary revaluation bonus", which had been agreed in a protocol signed in 2019 with the former Director General of the National Airports Office, Mohamed El Oufir.
