Liverpool Shifts Transfer Focus to Fiorentina’s Amrabat After Ending Bellingham Pursuit
Liverpool, who still wants to acquire Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, has just abandoned the Jude Bellingham track, the star of Borussia Dortmund. They could make a new offer to Fiorentina.
Liverpool has decided to focus on Sofyan Amrabat, the Fiorentina midfielder, after withdrawing from the race to sign English international Jude Bellingham, the Borussia Dortmund star, reports 90min. After an unsuccessful offer in January, the Reds are now considering making another attempt to recruit the Moroccan midfielder. They could make a new offer capable of convincing the Italian club.

Fiorentina would have asked for £40 million to let Sofyan leave this summer. After turning their back on their wish to recruit Bellingham, Liverpool theoretically has an additional £130 million to recruit another midfielder. The English club needs to fill the void that would be created by the departures of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of the season.
