Lebanese Singer Carole Samaha Praises King Mohammed VI’s Musical Knowledge Ahead of Mawazine Festival

Lebanese artist Carole Samaha revealed that she was impressed by Mohammed VI and his musical culture, after having the honor of meeting the monarch 15 years ago in France, during a family event.
"I had the honor of meeting him and I was surprised by his musical culture. He closely follows global cultural and artistic news," Carole Samaha said during the reception organized in her honor by the Lebanese ambassador in Rabat.
The Lebanese artist is in the Moroccan capital to participate in the 19th edition of the Mawazine Festival, which started on Friday. In a statement to the press before the reception at the ambassador’s residence, Carole Samaha thanked King Mohammed VI for his constant commitment to organizing this Festival, which, according to her, is one of the largest internationally.
The singer recalled that this is the fourth time she has participated in the Mawazine Festival and that her presence at this year’s edition marks an important stage in her career. Carole Samaha performed in concert on Friday at the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat, at the opening of the Mawazine Festival.
