Lacoste Revises World Map Design After Moroccan Backlash

Following the controversy sparked by the representation of Morocco on its new shirt models, the French brand Lacoste made a correction. Moroccans had strongly criticized the initially presented map of Morocco, divided into two parts.
Lacoste quickly reacted by removing the line separating the Sahara from Moroccan territory on the shirts of its Worldwide Lacoste collection. The corrected models, displaying a complete world map including Morocco in its entirety, have been put back on sale on the brand’s official website.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that Lacoste has found itself
