King Mohammed VI’s Wax Figure Updated at Paris Grévin Museum

The old statue supposed to represent King Mohammed VI at the Grévin Museum in Paris no longer resembled him at all. And a brand new one has just taken its place. With a notable haircut, it seems.
The renovation of the famous Parisian museum was probably an opportunity to change the wax statue of King Mohammed VI, which no longer resembled him.
The new statue is, according to HuffPost, the work of sculptor and statuary Jean-Guy Cumont. The media specifies - although it was obvious - that the artist only based himself on photos and videos. We can hardly imagine the Moroccan sovereign posing for a wax statue...
HuffPost states: "King Mohammed VI is one of the 30 new characters joining the 200 existing ones in the museum, alongside Queen Elizabeth II of England and Chinese President Xi Jinping, represented at a ’garden party’ in the gardens of the Elysée with Chancellor Angela Merkel. French President Emmanuel Macron also had his wax statue".
The renovation of the Grévin Museum cost a whopping 4 million euros. And the more or less well-represented characters are chosen by the Grévin Academy, which is chaired by... Stéphane Bern! We could have guessed, couldn’t we?
