King Mohammed VI Waives Rent for Tenants of Religious Trust Properties Amid Pandemic

King Mohammed VI has decided to exempt tenants of Habous premises dedicated to commerce, crafts, services and housing from rental fees.
"Within the framework of the continuous solicitude with which HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine and Supreme Nadher of the Waqfs, may God assist him, surrounds the categories affected by the repercussions of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, His Majesty has been pleased to exempt the tenants of Habous premises dedicated to commerce, crafts, services and housing from rental fees," it is stated.
This decision, which extends until the end of confinement, does not concern civil servants, the same statement specifies.
