King Mohammed VI Reaffirms Morocco’s Commitment to Israel Ties in Message to New PM Bennett

King Mohammed VI congratulated Naftali Bennett on his election as Prime Minister of Israel. This is likely to reassure the new strongman of the Hebrew state about the maintenance of the normalization agreement between the two countries.
Israel is turning the page on the Benjamin Netanyahu era. Naftali Bennett is now the newly elected Prime Minister. In a correspondence, King Mohammed VI expressed his warm congratulations to him on his election as Prime Minister of the State of Israel and his best wishes for success in his high office.
The sovereign has also reaffirmed Morocco’s determination to continue its active role and good offices in favor of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, capable of guaranteeing that all the peoples of the region live side by side in peace, stability and harmony.
