King Mohammed VI Poised for Showdown with Ministers over Legal Violations
Royal anger is in prospect. Under the chairmanship of King Mohammed VI, the next Council of Ministers, which is supposed to consider the general provisions of the 2020 Finance Bill, could hold some major surprises.
According to the Rue20 website, the Sovereign would be very angry with certain ministers, for having gone against the law, more precisely with regard to the decree relating to the National Social Security Fund.
Respect for the Constitution and the legislation in force is of great importance in the eyes of the Sovereign, who has always urged officials to set an example and embody the role of the model citizen.
The media adds that some ministers will be in an uncomfortable situation during the meeting of the Council of Ministers, which was postponed due to the Sovereign’s surgical intervention.
