Morocco’s King Summons Ministers for Urgent Meeting on Strategic Investment Fund
King Mohammed VI has summoned all ministers, including those currently on vacation, to a Council of Government to be held this Thursday, August 6 in Rabat.
This Council should endorse the draft law on the establishment of a Strategic Investment Fund announced on the occasion of the throne speech, reports the site Andalouspress.
The draft implementing decree, drawn up and finalized in record time by the Minister of Finance, Mohamed Benchaâboun, will be presented to the Council of Government for approval, before being submitted to the finance committees in both houses of parliament.
The Council of Government should also deliberate on the new amendments, made by the Ministry of the Interior, to the draft law on the state of health emergency.
