King Mohammed VI Orders Demolition of Rabat’s Bouregreg Marina Nautical Club

The authorities of the Wilaya of Rabat proceeded to the demolition of the nautical club of the Marina of Bouregreg. At the origin of this operation, an anger of King Mohammed VI.
The demolition operation of the Bouregreg Marina nautical club took place on the night of Friday, April 23 to Saturday, April 24. The decision "is motivated by a royal anger that manifested itself against the current form" of the headquarters of the nautical club of Rabat, reports Al Akhbar. In the eyes of the authorities, the headquarters of this nautical club represented a nameless disorder in the restructuring and design of the banks of the Bouregreg.
Before the demolition of this infrastructure, surf schools in Dar Bouazza had been demolished. The authorities of the Wilaya of Rabat do not intend to stop there. They are determined to raze all the unsanitary constructions on the left bank of Bouregreg, the newspaper believes.
