King Mohammed VI Orders Affordable Travel for Moroccan Expats Returning Home

King Mohammed VI has ordered all players in the air and maritime transport sector to charge reasonable prices in order to facilitate the return of Moroccans residing abroad.
Within the framework of the very high solicitude with which King Mohammed VI has always surrounded the members of the Moroccan community residing abroad, and the permanent royal attention to the continuity of their attachment to the motherland, the King has been pleased to give his very high instructions to the competent authorities and to all the players in the transport sector, in order to work towards facilitating their return to the country at affordable prices, says a statement from the Royal Cabinet.
In this context, the sovereign has ordered all players in the air transport sector, in particular the Royal Air Maroc airline, as well as the various maritime transport actors, to ensure reasonable prices that are within everyone’s reach, as well as to ensure a sufficient number of rotations, in order to allow Moroccan families abroad to return to the country and reconnect with their families and loved ones, particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the same source continues.
Similarly, King Mohammed VI has urged all tourism operators, both in the transport and hotel sectors, to take the necessary measures to welcome members of the Moroccan community residing abroad under the best conditions and at the best prices, concludes the statement.
