Air Arabia Maroc Resumes European Flights Amid Calls for Lower Fares

The airline Air Arabia Maroc is preparing to resume its flights from the kingdom to Europe. Will it follow in the footsteps of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) in reducing its fares to facilitate the return of Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) as desired by King Mohammed VI?
On Sunday, the sovereign ordered all stakeholders in the air and sea transport sector to charge reasonable prices in order to facilitate the return of Moroccans living abroad. Air Arabia Maroc, which announced the resumption of its flights to Europe as of this Tuesday, June 15, is expected to take on this task.
In total, three new air links will be launched from Morocco to Europe: Casablanca-Geneva, Nador-Eindhoven and Oujda-Murcia, the airline said in a press release. Air Arabia Maroc will allow from June 17 to reach Casablanca and Geneva with two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays as part of the continuation of the program to expand its network.
From June 18, Air Arabia Maroc will launch the Oujda-Murcia line with two flights per week on Mondays and Fridays. The company will also serve new routes from Marrakech to Barcelona, Fez to Marseille and Malaga, Oujda to Marseille, Toulouse and Paris as well as Tangier to Bilbao and Valencia.
