King Mohammed VI Names Military Officer Class After Former Prime Minister Youssoufi

The "Youssoufi" promotion of the new officers with low female representation (15%) was presented on July 31, 2019. The name chosen by King Mohammed VI pays tribute to Aderrahmane Youssoufi for his sacrifices in favor of the Moroccan nation.
Present at this swearing-in ceremony, on the sidelines of the royal activities planned as part of the celebration of the Throne Feast, King Mohammed VI wanted to pay tribute to Aderrahmane Youssoufi, Prime Minister of the 26th Government of Morocco. "I have chosen to give your promotion the name of Master Aderrahmane Youssoufi, in tribute to the immutable principles of patriotism, attachment to the sacred symbols of the Nation and the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, and the defense of its higher interests that this personality shares with Our Venerated Father, His Majesty King Hassan II and with Our Majesty," said King Mohammed VI.
Three years earlier, King Mohammed VI had already honored the former Prime Minister by naming the "Assalam" Street of the "Abderrahmane Youssoufi" Avenue.
With this "Youssoufi" promotion of new officers, we can count 1,839 military personnel, including 283 women. The feminization rate of 15% this year is the same as in 2018.
