King Mohammed VI Mourns Passing of Moroccan Arts Pioneer Hammadi Tounsi

Following the death of the Moroccan artist Hammadi Tounsi, King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to his family and the world of the arts.
In his message, the Moroccan sovereign said he had learned with deep sadness the news of the death of the distinguished artist and author the late Hammadi Tounsi. He states that he remembers him as one of the pioneers of the national artistic scene who enriched it, for many years, through his theatrical creations, his writings and poems imbued with authenticity and patriotism. For the king, the works of the deceased will forever be engraved in the memory of his fans of all generations.
While expressing his sincere condolences to the members of the artist’s family, the King says he implores the Almighty to grant them calm and comfort.
