Moroccan King Mourns Passing of Legendary Actor Hammadi Ammor at 90

King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of actor Hammadi Ammor, who died on Friday night at the age of 90.
In his message, the King expressed the feelings of sadness he felt when he learned of the death of the artist Hammadi Ammor, imploring the Almighty to surround him with His holy mercy. To the members of the deceased’s family, and through them, his great national artistic family and all his friends and admirers, Mohammed VI extends his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion following this immense loss.
Hammadi Ammor was one of the pioneers of interpretation in both theater, television and cinema in Morocco. The King, in his message, highlighted the rich repertoire of distinguished artistic works and the immense talent of the late Ammor. He was esteemed by a wide audience in admiration of his talent as a great performer. Mohammed VI says he pays tribute to the late Ammor’s high human qualities and sincere patriotism, as well as his unwavering attachment to the glorious Alaouite Throne.
He implores the Almighty to grant patience and comfort to the family of the deceased, to amply reward the late Ammor for his good deeds in service of his homeland, and to welcome him in His vast paradise among the righteous.
