King Mohammed VI Convenes Urgent Council of Ministers, Appoints Senior Officials

The King Mohammed VI chaired a Council of Ministers this Wednesday afternoon, during which several bills and international conventions were ratified.
The ministerial meeting was also an opportunity for the Sovereign to appoint senior officials to head major state institutions, in accordance with the recommendations announced during the Throne speech.
According to Akhbaronna, the information relating to the meeting, which was of an urgent nature, was communicated by the Royal Cabinet to the ministers in the early morning.
During the Throne speech, the Sovereign had urged the Head of Government to propose new senior political and administrative officials, in order to give new impetus to the country’s development pace.
