King Mohammed VI to Chair Council of Ministers, Approve Key Reforms in Morocco

A government council is being held this Monday, June 28, at the royal palace of Fez, under the chairmanship of King Mohammed VI. On the agenda: the validation by the sovereign of several framework laws.
All members of the executive have been invited this Monday to the 14th Council of Ministers under the mandate of the government led by Saâdeddine El Othmani, which will be chaired by King Mohammed VI, reports Al Akhbar. During this meeting, the sovereign will approve the framework laws relating to tax reform and public establishments and enterprises (EEP). These projects will be presented to the Council of Ministers after the legislative procedures have been finalized.
On Sunday, an exceptional government council was held under the chairmanship of Saâdeddine El Othmani. During this meeting, these two framework laws were examined. Not to mention the draft decrees relating to cybercrime, the exemption from land registration fees for the beneficiaries of the martyrs of the nation and the victims of military operations, as well as the application of the law relating to defense and security materials and equipment.
The Councils of Ministers and the Government are accelerating as the term of the El Othmani government is coming to an end.
