King Mohammed VI Appoints General Belkhir El Farouk as New Inspector General of Moroccan Armed Forces

Army Corps General Belkhir El Farouk is the new Inspector General of the FAR, replacing General Abdelfattah Louarrak. He was appointed, on Wednesday, by King Mohammed VI.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery, which specified that the new official will continue to carry out his duties as Commander of the Southern Zone.
Army Corps General Belkhir El Farouk was chosen for this position in view of his "professional skills and the high sense of responsibility he has shown in the various missions entrusted to him," the same source said.
