Moroccan kickboxing champion Badr Hari, who recently hung up his gloves, wants to implement an ambitious project in Morocco. On Wednesday, he announced the launch of a fitness center chain called "Punch".
"Being fully convinced of the vision of our king (Mohammed VI, editor’s note) of the potential and future of our country, I have decided to launch a network of fitness centers in early 2023," announced the Moroccan kickboxer. Indeed, sport has given me everything in my life and it is time to give back to the sports community of our dear country, Morocco." He will specify that these sports centers will be called "Punch". The goal he is pursuing is "to develop a network of a few dozen sports centers in the next three years, throughout Morocco."
"Our project is to develop sports centers that meet the best international standards but accessible to the greatest number in terms of subscription fees. My ambition is that this project can be a great human adventure with a strong social impact, throughout Morocco," he revealed, assuring that he wants "to encourage Moroccan youth but also seniors to invest in their health through regular sports activities in a true sports community guaranteeing quality equipment, safety and a clean environment."
"Our people deserve true excellence," he added, promising "to take physical fitness and combat to the next level thanks to our revolutionary concept."
