Kickboxing Champ Jamal Ben Saddik Becomes Bus Driver After Doping Suspension

Moroccan kickboxing champion, Jamal Ben Saddik, has not participated in new competitions since August 2022, more than a year ago. This would have led to some financial difficulties.
Nicknamed "Goliath", he had managed to knock out the Romanian Benjamin Adegbuyi in his last match, but this victory was canceled following a failed doping test. This test, carried out by Glory, earned him a 15-month suspension, during which he remained away from the ring.
Pending a possible return, Ben Saddik has opted for a career change. On social media, he shared images of himself at the wheel of a De Lijn bus in Belgium. This new activity, according to his statements, does not differ so much from the fights, showing his desire to remain active despite the distance from the rings.
The date and place of his next fight are still uncertain, but the kickboxer is preparing, if we are to believe the training photos and videos he regularly posts on social media.
Ben Saddik is no stranger to the world of kickboxing, particularly within Glory where he won the tournament in 2018. Despite his losses against Rico Verhoeven, fans still see him as a fighter who is ready to go all the way even in case of difficulty.
