Kenitra Police Bust Alleged Brothel, Arrest 5 Amid Neighborhood Dispute

The elements of the police under the prefecture of the national security of Kenitra proceeded, on Sunday, June 7, to the arrest of five individuals aged between 22 and 28 years old, including two brothers and two girls. They would be involved in the violation of the state of health emergency, the development of a brothel, the exchange of violence and resistance to the agents of the public force.
The security services had received a notice concerning a dispute between the five individuals, suspected of being involved in the development of a brothel, and a group of residents of the "Afka" district in Kenitra, which turned into an exchange of violence and stone throwing on the public highway, indicates in a press release the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The immediate intervention of the police patrols made it possible to arrest the suspects involved in this dispute, specifies the same source, adding that during this intervention, a police sergeant was accidentally the victim of bruises. He was taken to the hospital where he is receiving the necessary care.
Pending the arrest of any persons involved in these criminal acts, the suspects have been taken into custody.
