Jet2 Expands: Newcastle Takes Flight to Marrakech and Budapest
The airline Jet2 has just announced the launch of a new air route between Morocco and the United Kingdom.
Jet2 is offering the new Newcastle-Marrakech air route. The inaugural flight was effective on Friday, October 10th. The day before, the company launched the Newcastle-Budapest route. Flights to Marrakech are scheduled every Tuesday and Friday. The link to Budapest will be operated every Thursday and Sunday. The demand for these two destinations is strong, according to Chronicle.
"We are delighted that Jet2.com is strengthening its commitment to Newcastle Airport with new routes to Budapest and Marrakech," said Leon McQuaid, Director of Aviation Development at Newcastle Airport. He added: "These new services offer our passengers an even wider choice and meet the growing demand for connections between the North East and destinations around the world."
