Ryanair launches a new flight to Marrakech
The airline Ryanair has announced a major expansion of its services at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The arrival of a sixth aircraft stationed on the tarmac will be accompanied by the opening of three new destinations from the summer of 2026, including a direct link to Marrakech.
The company confirms a "major commitment" to the British platform. The addition of a sixth aircraft should allow it to become the leading carrier in terms of the number of seats departing from Liverpool. The new summer schedule includes Tirana (Albania), Warsaw (Poland) and Marrakech (Morocco).
The announced service to Marrakech is one of the key summer routes in this expansion and will be operational from the summer. Ryanair has also announced the addition of additional rotations on several existing destinations, such as Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Ibiza and Krakow. The company expects this schedule to take the airport’s annual traffic beyond 2.4 million passengers in 2026.
