Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra Performs Moroccan National Anthem, Celebrating Diplomatic Ties

The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra celebrated the normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel through the performance of the Moroccan national anthem.
Under the baton of conductor Nizar El-Khater, the Moroccan national anthem was performed at the Jerusalem theater with the participation of the Israeli choir Kehilot Sharot. The Voices of Hope, a collective of Moroccan artists, joined them by videoconference, making this celebration of the rapprochement between the two countries magnificent.
The normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel had been announced on December 10. Since then, the two countries have engaged in talks. King Mohammed VI has also spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. After an American-Israeli visit to Rabat, a Moroccan delegation went to Tel Aviv.
