Ivanka Trump Dons Traditional Caftan at Royal Dinner in Morocco

It was in her beautiful caftan that Ivanka Trump presented herself at the dinner organized yesterday in Rabat in her honor by King Mohammed VI. Chaired by Princess Lalla Meryem, this dinner was attended by André Azoulay, the King’s Advisor, and several members of the Government.

Advisor to President Donald Trump, she arrived in Morocco on Wednesday for a visit during which she is to have a series of meetings with Moroccan officials in Rabat and Casablanca.

According to lematin.ma, Ivanka Trump has a rather busy schedule for her short stay in the Kingdom. On Thursday, she proceeded in Sidi Kacem to launch a support campaign for the melkization operation aimed at the appropriation of soulaliyate lands, as part of the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative (W-GDP) launched by the American President. And that’s not all.

In the company of the Head of Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani, she presided over the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). According to the newspaper, this is an agreement that deals with the implementation of the land governance project.

Ivanka Trump’s visit to the Kingdom carries a message, that of the economic empowerment of 50 million women by 2025.
