Morocco Advances Women’s Land Rights, Earns Praise from Ivanka Trump

The daughter and adviser of the American president, Ivanka Trump, in a Facebook post, congratulated Morocco, praising the promotion of women’s land rights in the soulaliyate lands.
"Congratulations to the Moroccan government and its citizens," Ivanka Trump wrote on her Facebook page. She stated that Morocco is working to put in place new laws to promote women’s rights to land.
In the eyes of the president’s daughter, these major reforms represent a great legal advance.
In November 2019, Ivanka Trump had visited Morocco for a three-day visit as part of the promotion of the American initiative for the economic empowerment of women. She had met on that occasion with women entrepreneurs for a public meeting.
