Ivanka Trump Arrives in Morocco for Women’s Empowerment Initiative

Arriving at Rabat-Salé airport on Wednesday, November 6, the daughter and Advisor to the US President, Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, was received by Princess Lalla Meryem.
Accompanied by the President and CEO of the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) program, Sean Cairncross, Ivanka Trump will have a busy schedule starting Friday, November 8.
Her visit to Morocco will begin with a visit to the Specialized Institute of Aeronautics and Airport Logistics Trades (ISMALA), where she has an appointment with staff and students from 2 pm.
The daughter of the US President will have to go to Sidi Kacem on the same day to attend an event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests.
The visit to Morocco is part of a program to promote the financial empowerment of women in developing countries.
To this end, the United States Agency for International Development has allocated an initial budget of $50 million to encourage 50 million women to develop their economic project by 2025.
