Italian Tourist Arrested Near Agadir on Suspicion of Child Abuse

The elements of the Aourir gendarmerie arrested an Italian tourist, who is suspected of pedophilia. At the time of his arrest at his home late at night, he was in the company of a minor.
It is in the vicinity of Agadir that the Italian tourist was arrested. According to the gendarmes who carried out his arrest, he would be a regular offender of the acts he is accused of. Exasperated, the residents called the gendarmes and surrounded the house to prevent him from fleeing, reports the daily Assabah.
During his interrogation, the suspect would have denied sexually abusing the minor, but the child indicated that he had asked him to flee by going through the roof of the house. The newspaper stresses that seeing a Moroccan minor with a foreigner, and moreover at night, seemed strange to the residents who decided to follow them. Seeing how easily he behaved, they concluded that the Italian tourist was not at his first offense and that he used all the subterfuges to attract minors to his home.
The suspect was placed in custody for the purposes of the investigation opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the Italian tourist is involved in the sexual exploitation of other minors.
