Wednesday 28 August 2019, by Bladi.net

The National Brigade of the Judicial Police arrested a foreign national with an Israeli passport. He is suspected of being linked to the criminal network involved in the forgery of Moroccan identity documents and passports, dismantled in March 2019.

The precise information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) has been fruitful. They allowed the arrest of this unscrupulous Israeli national. The 52-year-old suspect is said to have obtained a Moroccan national identity card and passport using false documents, taking advantage of the fraudulent procedures applied by the dismantled criminal network.

The services of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) have listed the alleged perpetrator as a criminal. He was indeed the subject of an international arrest warrant issued on January 17, 2019, for his alleged involvement in several murders, including an attempted murder in the context of a settling of scores between organized criminal networks, the same source stressed.

For the needs of the investigation and to determine the circumstances of the case, the suspect was placed in custody, before his possible extradition to his country of origin.
