Yair Lapid, Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on Wednesday, August 11 in Rabat with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita as part of a two-day visit. The latter affirms that there are promising prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
"There are promising prospects for cooperation. We have examined ways to develop and consolidate these relations at the institutional level and in the private sector, without forgetting to give new impetus to the human dimension, some aspects of which have recently concerned air services between the two countries," said Nasser Bourita during his meeting with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid.
According to him, the resumption of relations between the two countries expresses a will and a conviction. "Bilateral relations are experiencing a new dynamic thanks to the common will we share," said the Moroccan Foreign Minister, recalling that the two countries have set up five working groups that are interested in promising sectors related to research, creation, tourism, aviation, agriculture, energy, environment, trade and investment.
During the meeting, the two senior officials signed three agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the political, cultural, youth and sports fields, and in air services.
