Israeli Economy Minister Visits Morocco to Boost Trade Relations

Orna Barbivay, Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry, arrived in Morocco on Sunday, February 20 for a three-day working visit.
In a tweet, Eyal David, Deputy Head of the Israeli Mission in Rabat, announced the arrival of the Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry in Morocco as part of a three-day working visit focused on developing economic cooperation between the two countries. During this first visit, Orna Barbivay will meet with her Moroccan counterpart Nadia Fettah Alaoui and other Moroccan ministers. A bilateral cooperation agreement providing for the consolidation of economic and trade exchanges between Morocco and Israel in various sectors should also be signed.
The last visit of an Israeli official to Morocco dates back to November 23, 2021. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who was in Rabat last November, and his Moroccan counterpart Abdellatif Loudiyi had signed several agreements aimed at strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
