Morocco and Israel Sign Deal to Boost Trade, Create Industrial Zones

As part of the expansion of their cooperation, Morocco and Israel signed an economic and trade cooperation agreement on Monday, aimed at establishing industrial zones in Morocco and developing business.
Specifically, the document initialed by the Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, and his Israeli counterpart of Economy and Industry, Orna Barbivai, will facilitate trade and investment in the aerospace, automotive, agri-food, textile and pharmaceutical industries in particular, reports the MAP.
The two officials agreed to hold the first meeting of a joint committee established by the Economic and Trade Cooperation Agreement, as well as to host a business forum.
Industry 4.0, food, automotive, aerospace, textiles, water technologies, renewable energies, outsourcing services, medical devices and the pharmaceutical industry are among the sectors identified by the two parties as having high investment potential.
