Israeli Airline Israir to Launch Direct Tel Aviv-Marrakech Flights in Spring 2022

Israir will launch Tel Aviv-Marrakech flights as early as April 2022. This is the result of the partnership signed between the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the Israeli company.
Already some fallout from ONMT’s participation in the IMTM Tel-Aviv trade show. The meeting between Adel El Fakir, Director General of ONMT and Rami Levi, famous Israeli businessman and owner in particular of the second Israeli airline Israir, resulted in the signing of a partnership. "The Israir group is one of the most important tourism players in Israel. Through this partnership, we will quickly attract a significant flow of clients from this strategic market and we are also laying the foundations for sustainable growth for the years to come," says Adel El Fakir, quoted in an ONMT press release.
As part of this partnership, Israir will offer 2 weekly flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport and Marrakech Menara Airport, for an offer of 8,500 seats to the ochre city. These flights will be operated from the summer season between April and October 2022, it is specified. "This partnership will also allow ONMT and ISRAIR to deploy a multimedia device on several Israeli media in order to communicate on the destination Morocco, its accessibility and its diversified offer for the different segments: family or religious tourism, leisure tourism, business travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events)," continues the same source.
