Israel Leads Applicants for Morocco’s New Electronic Visa System

As of July 21, Israelis are at the top of applicants for the electronic visa, launched on July 10 in Morocco.
Taking stock of this new system adopted as part of the modernization of immigration services, the government spokesman, Mustapha Baitas, revealed the first figures, specifying that the system has recorded up to Thursday, 4,241 electronic visa applications, including 450 express visas.
In total, 2,385 e-visas have been issued, while 795 applications are incomplete, 445 applications are under study, including two express. In this batch, 58 applications have been rejected, he added.
Among the tourist applicants for the Moroccan e-visa, Israelis are in pole position, ranking first, according to the first official figures.
