Israel Resumes Construction of New Embassy in Moroccan Capital

Israel is resuming the construction of the future building that will house its embassy in Rabat.
The willingness of the Israeli authorities to establish a permanent diplomatic representation in the Moroccan capital is being realized. After a period of interruption, the construction work on the future building housing the Israeli embassy in Rabat has resumed, as observed by Barlamane.
The infrastructure is being built on a plot of land registered under number 65534/R and designated under the name Afrah, located in the upscale Souissi district, in the heart of Rabat, indicates a land title issued by the property registrar of the Agdal-Riyad district. Its area is 18 ares and 39 centiares. The property includes a single-story villa, with a garden and a well, it is specified. According to the document, this property officially belongs to the State of Israel.
The Israeli diplomatic liaison office will give way to the new building once it is built. The completion of this project will strengthen Israel’s presence in Morocco. Since the normalization of their relations in 2020, the two countries have been working to strengthen their already dynamic bilateral ties in several areas, including defense, the economy, education and technology.
