Israel and Morocco Launch Student Exchange Program to Foster Cultural Understanding

Israel has announced the organization of educational trips between Morocco and Israel for their students. They will allow Israeli students to learn "the great history of Morocco, from an educational and social point of view".
This decision was made during a first telephone conversation between the Minister of National Education, Saaïd Amzazi and his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Galant. On his Twitter account, the Israeli minister specified that the two countries will be able to exchange student delegations and organize study trips to Israel and Morocco.
Enthusiastic about the initiative, Minister Amzazi said that the students "will learn the great history of Morocco, from both an educational and social point of view". For the implementation of this program, the creation of specific committees dedicated to the development of educational programs is envisaged.
In addition to educational trips, the Israeli minister also plans to introduce Moroccan Jewish heritage into educational programs.
