Islamic Calendar: Jumada Al Akhira 1441 Begins January 27, 2020

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announces that the month of Jumada Al Akhira 1441 of the Hijri calendar begins this Monday, January 27, 2020.
This announcement follows the information that the delegates of Islamic affairs and the units of the Royal Armed Forces have provided to the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. They confirmed the non-observation of the crescent moon announcing the beginning of the month of Jumada Al Akhira, on the evening of Saturday, 29 Jumada I, corresponding to January 25, 2020, according to a statement from the ministry. The month of Jumada I will thus have reached 30 days and the 1st of the month of Jumada Al Akhira will correspond to Monday, January 27, 2020.
"May God, in this blessed month, fill with His favors, HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, may God assist him, and renew, on this occasion, for HRH the Crown Prince, Moulay El Hassan, and all the members of the Illustrious Royal Family, in the blessings and well-being, and for the Moroccan people and the entire Islamic Ummah, in progress, prosperity, security and tranquility," concludes the statement.
