Morocco Announces Start of Chaâbane, Ramadan to Begin in One Month

This year in Morocco, the 1st Chaâbane 1441 of the Hijri calendar will correspond to Thursday, March 26, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced on Tuesday, March 24.
According to the minister, the ministry’s delegates and the units of the Royal Armed Forces contacted have confirmed the non-observation of the lunar crescent of the month of Chaâbane.
Consequently, the 1st Chaâbane 1441 of the Hijri calendar will correspond to Thursday, March 26.
