ISIS Supporter Arrested in Morocco for Planning Lone Wolf Attack

An individual suspected of being an extremist element linked to the terrorist organization "Daesh" was arrested by the judicial police of Safi on Wednesday, thanks to information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
According to a statement from the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), the investigations carried out revealed that the suspect had pledged allegiance to the so-called emir of the Islamic State organization.
Similarly, the individual had set up an individual project aimed at seriously undermining public order by identifying and identifying targets, including civil servants, using the modus operandi of lone wolves. The searches carried out at the home of the alleged terrorist led to the seizure of a video in which he pledged allegiance to the Daesh organization and expressed his intention to join the organization’s combat camps.
