Iraqi-Moroccan Singer Gifted $270,000 Aston Martin for Valentine’s Day
Iraqi-Moroccan artist and singer Meriem Hussein received last Thursday an expensive Valentine’s Day gift, a luxury car worth around 2 billion Moroccan cents (a little over 250,000 euros). She also stated that it is the car of her dreams.
At the time of receiving the costly gift, an Aston Martin Vanquish, Meriem Hussein took the opportunity to film the scene and post it on Snapchat. She declares there that it is the car of her dreams. In a photo posted on social media, and more specifically on Instagram, she wrote the following comment "The feast of love has arrived bringing with it the biggest surprise".
Note that Meriem Hussein describes herself as Khalijie because she has always lived in the Middle East.
Meriem Hussein was sentenced in absentia by a Kuwaiti court (she was outside Kuwait) to six months in prison with hard labor and a fine of 5,000 Kuwaiti dinars. Two years earlier, she had insulted the artist Hussein Al-Mansour in a video, claiming to have been extremely disappointed by the collaboration they had together.
